Before you could sink in with the  latest release by Garnier in the field of BB creams, you have another version from Maybelline in an altogether new avatar. The new avatar is their Clear Glow BB cream in
a stick form! Though I like the stick version for its ease of use , the stick version has been specifically launched to cater to oily/combination skin as the cream version was a bit too heavy for them. I have a
dry to normal skin, then why did i buy  it? Well first of all , out sheer curiosity, I liked the stick form & also it was  affordable & second of all its scorching hot & humid in Mumbai already, that my skin on the
T-zone area is already oily. The packaging is very convenient to use; no messy finger application, just draw the lines with the stick on your face & use a foundation brush for quick application. The texture is ultra smooth and it
spreads easily & evenly on the skin.I still need to moisturize my face really well before using the BB Stick. With proper moisturization, it will work well for dry skin in summers & not so harsh winters but still
I noticed some flaking near my temples & chin area because of dryness. The shade Radiance works fine for me and this BB Stick is available only in 2 shades in India – Radiance & Fawn. Fawn is really really dark and I think for most Indian skin tones a shade between
Radiance & Fawn would have been ideal. Radiance has pink undertones to it, so it instantly brightens up the under eye area. It works well in terms of coverage too and if you don’t have heavy dark circles,
blemishes or visible pores to hide it will work just fine on its own. It gives an almost matte finish to the skin but with a setting powder it will remain shine free for longer hours. It has SPF 21, so it is just
perfect for summer days & also it contains Salicylic acid, which works well for oily/acne prone skin.

Pros of Maybelline Clear Glow BB Stick
1. Easy to use packaging
2. Hides light blemishes & open pores
3. Very smooth texture & easily blendable 4. Does not give ashy appearance to the skin.
5. Contains SPF 21 6. Stays fresh on the skin for hours

Cons of Maybelline Clear Glow BB Stick
1. Not ideal for very dry skin. This has been specifically targeted for combination oily skin
2. Available only in 2 shades – Not the best match for Indian skin tone

Recommendation: Maybelline Clearglow BB Stick can be an  oily/combination skin girl’s best friend! If you are looking for decent coverage, all in one cream – SPF, foundation, concealer, moisturizer, and you felt like the BB Cream version was too greasy for you then this is a nice option.  For dry skin girls, it will work fine during summers & humid climate conditions but it still needs properly moisturized skin or else it can give flaky skin in an hour of application. It also works well as under eye concealer/highlighter if you are looking for less coverage.

Vaadi Herbals Luxurious Saffron Soap Skin Whitening Therapy Review

Hello everyone!
Refreshing colorful bathing bars and
summers! Could you relate? We
Chennaites are going through a
tough summer here. Its getting
hotter everyday!  Even those shower gels those make my skin dry in
winters are giving me greasy filmy
skin now; This made me say NO
temporarily to the creamy shower
gels, bath creams etc and I switched
to bathing bars.

I do not prefer hard chemical based
bathing bars of course. Mild,
refreshing, glycerin based ones will
be my pick anytime. After trying out
the Lavender Handmade Bathing Bar from Vaadi Herbals, I felt that I am
comfortable with their soaps and
this one -Saffron and Goat Milk Soap
was my second try. Let us check how
it fared for me.

Claims of the Soap

content of Saffron & goat Milk, this

Do I Recommend this Soap?: Yes! I highly recommend this soap if
you are a strong fragrance lover.
This soap also helps with new tan
removal, though it removes it very
slowly. For summers, this soap is not
a bad option. For the price, it is a very good product from Vaadi
herbals again!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Face Wash Review

I have always been attacked with pesky pimples and as soon as I got to know that tea tree oil helps in curing them, I have been attracted to tea tree products  So I got The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Face Wash one fine day and following is my take on it.I have now almost finished using this.
•A cleansing gel-based facial wash, suitable for everyday use to help clear and prevent blemishes, removing excess oil without overdrying the skin.

Size: 250.00ml
Price: Rs. 695

Ingredients
Community Trade organic tea tree oil from Kenya – an ingredient renowned for its anti-bacterial benefits, an infusion perfect to help blemished skin Tamanu Oil from Madagascar – traditionally used to promote healthy-looking skin and has fantastic skin moisturising properties Lemon Tea Tree from Kenya – Anti-bacterial to give the products a zesty fragrance

Directions for use:
Lather Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash. Massage gently into face and neck with fingertips in an outward circular motion. Rinse using clean water.(like eneone will use dattyyy water on her precious face.

The Face wash is green liquid and every time I use it.I get this cooling effect.I love to use this after i come from the office because the commuting makes my face all dirty and full of grime. It
takes of all the dirt and oil and leaves me feeling fresh. It is an excellent face wash for summers. I have to say, it does not prevent pimples.I believe that pimples/acne can be due to various
reasons and one of the reasons is clogged pores so this face wash can help in cleaning the face effectively so the chances of having pimples reduce but if it is due to other reasons for eg
harmonal imbalance, it cannot help.

Pros of The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Face Wash
1) Totally cleans up the face.
2) Does not dry up the skin.
3) Cooling sensation after washing the face is so refreshing.
4) I belive this face wash that i have been using alongwith the other products does contribute in clearing blemishes.
5) The quantity is a lot. I have been using it for past 6 months now and it will still last me another two weeks.
6) No slippery feel after using it. 7) Does almost everything that it claims removes excess oil without overdrying the skin. However,  I cannot comment on preventing blemishes although i belive it helps in clearing them.

CIPLA 8X - BEST ANTI-DANDRUFF SHAMPOO

Hey everyone..
from a long time i've been craving to give a review on this prodcut. to be true i too was suffering from dandruff problems but all the shampoos would work temporarily. but a friend of mine told me about this.. and believe me my dandruff was gone in just 2 washes!! it also moisturises your hair so i'd say its a must shot..

Ingredients:
Ciclopirox, Zinc Pyrithione (ZPTO) and shampoo base.
Its also got aloe vera for conditioning the hair!!

Ingredients
Indications:
Dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp. I had a very dry scalp and flakes of dry skin would come off within a couple of days of washing my hair.
How To Use:
Wet hair, apply and lather. Leave it for three minutes and rinse off... simple as that.
Packaging:
It comes in a standard white bottle with a green cap which allows you to use it till the last drop. The shampoo is a very light greenish blue liquid which is of medium consistency. It lathers well when sufficient quantity is taken.

Price:
Rs. 170 for 100 mL
My Experience :
I am very satisfied with this product. I used shampoo twice every time, once lightly to clean the hair and then a second time for treating the dandruff. The second time, massaged the scalp with finger tips and then left for at least 3 minutes. I used to leave it till I finish my bath and then rinse it off. You can use conditioner after using the shampoo if you want, but I didn’t do as I feel conditioners don’t do much for my dry, curly hair like mine.
Pros :
  • It clears dandruff effectively, which is precisely what we want it to do.
  • Effectively cures itching of the scalp.
  • It is cost effective.
Cons :

  • I feel that the cons are not significant in this case as it’s a functional, medicinal product and does what it claims.
Do I Recommend Cipla 8X Anti-Dandruff Shampoo?
Definately... try it sincerely for a few days and you will surely notice a difference.
Thanks a lot for reading this review, I hope you liked it and that at least a few of you would find it helpful. Take care and stay happy!
